Living your purpose

Living your purpose

When we try to do something and fail, it can be quite perplexing, demotivating, unpleasant, and unfulfilling.

That same issue is sometimes what someone else appears to excel at—going through it like a breeze.

So you question yourself, "Why am I such a failure?" Why can't I be as successful as John or Jane Doe?

1.Your purpose

When you are carrying out your mission, your journey here on earth is the most meaningful. What you are

meant to perform is your purpose. It is what brings you peace in your soul, no matter how difficult it may

appear. It's what makes your neighbors happy. It's also what brings out the best in you by treating your

neighbors as you would want to be treated.

2.You are a steward

We are all guardians of the environment. A steward is someone who looks after the belongings of others.

Whatever we have on this planet does not belong to us. These things must be taken care of as best we can.

We don't always take good care of ourselves since we have too many unimportant things to which we

devote a lot of our time. It's also clear that when someone dies, they leave everything behind. It's possible

that our casket isn't even the one we wanted. We can't even choose who attends our funeral. However,

while we are alive, we are given specific responsibilities that allow us to make a difference in people's lives.

Memories are made, and they are passed down.

3. Your talents?

By default, you have gifts and talents. As a result, you will have no trouble using them. While they come

out of you easily, some are having difficulty doing so. You must uncover or rediscover the qualities and

talents that you possess. This will assist you in paving the way for you to live out your mission.

4.Your clutter?

When you clear out a cluttered area, it's like taking a breath of fresh air. Many of us live in a cluttered

environment. You're too busy hoarding things that won't help you achieve your goal. We already have

what we need, but we can't see it because it's buried beneath our clutter. Clutter depletes your energy.

You can't keep going if you don't have any energy. So, in order to rediscover our talents, we must first

declutter our lives in order to see clearly and make room for what is meant to be with us. As a result,

we can give them our undivided attention.

5. Lifetime stewardship

You are encouraged to seek from God the things over which you are to be a steward because you understand

that we cannot take care of everything in this world and that there is only so much that you can do. We pray

for children on occasion, but it may not be part of our stewardship package. So, if you want to be like

someone else or have the things that someone else has, first seek God's voice to see if this is part of your package.

This is where you can refuse certain requests. Always seek God's guidance, listen to his voice, and clear

your clutter.

6. Do what you do well

Whatever is included in your stewardship package may only last a season. A season can be a lifetime, a week,

a month, or the amount of time you spend in school. Your stewardship should be done well regardless of the

time frame. It is said that whatever you choose to do, you should do well. Do a good job.

The Pencil Purpose Series

Welcome to the Pencil Purpose Series. In this post you will learn of the first step towards living a meaningful life.  Image by Monoar Rahman Rony from Pixabay.com It is not strange to assume that you have used a pencil before.  We all have.  Have you ever thought of the lifelong lessons that a pencil can teach you? First of all, the general view of a pencil is a line of carbon (graphite)  that is enclosed in a wooden body.  Some have erasers while others do not. Over the years though the outside has evolved and the body can be of plastic, or metal.  But the inside remains the same-the carbon inside which is what makes the pencil a pencil. That graphite, no matter what body it is placed in will still perform its duty of making carbon inscriptions. So for you, have you taken some time to reflect on what you are made of? An inventory of your physical and internal characteristics will be helpful. Have you looked into a mirror lately to see what you look like o...

Accepting yourself

A pencil is a pencil and will always be a pencil. In a packet or on its own. Pink, purple, yellow, green? With glitter? Eraser? No eraser? Mechanical?  Plastic? Wooden?  The pencil will always be a pencil. So to you.  You will always be you. Tall, short, slim, plump brown skinned, fair skinned, dark skinned? Kind, arrogant, talented, hard working,  Even lazy? Long hair, short hair, kinky or kurly? You! Yes you! Embrace who you are.  Inside and out. You will always be you. Taking careful inventory of you will help in knowing and pinning what makes you you. Your flaws, your strengths and weaknesses are all aspects of you.  On the path to living a meaningful life you will have to drop some things. However, you will cross that bridge when you reach it. In the meantime continue observing yourself closely and take note of your features, talents and virtues. GROW! ELEVATE!   ðŸ’ª Click for the next post in the series: Being selected
